Counselling

Our Pastors of Spiritual Care and Counsel are available to meet with you for counsel and prayer. They offer pastoral care that involves visitation, general counselling, marriage counselling, and pre-marital counselling. Please contact the church office if you require any of these.

Prayer

We at Skyview church believe in a strong prayer ministry, where we communicate and worship with God through prayer. Prayer is about having a relationship with our Creator, and this is done both individually and collectively. We want prayer to become integral in everyone’s faith and offer a variety of ways to participate through prayer.

Need Prayer?

As followers of Christ, we know we are not alone. God is faithful. God is present. You may need hope. We are here to encourage and pray for you and have a group of people committed to praying for you. If you are in need of prayer, please contact us at prayer@skyviewchurch.ca Your email will be received in confidence by one of our pastors. We also have opportunities for prayer on Sunday morning following service with our pastors or volunteer prayer leaders.

Benevolence Ministry

The benevolence ministry facilitates the distribution of funds from our benevolence fund to support those in need both within our congregation and in the community. It is intended to be a temporary help during a time of crisis, to meet people’s basic needs such as: lodging, clothing, food, medical treatment, transportation to or from a place of employment, initial evaluation and professional counselling appointments. I pray that our congregation and community will sense our generous hospitality and that God is with them through whatever they are going through.  If you need this type of support or you know of someone, please reach out to us at benevolence@skyviewchurch.ca or call the church office.   

Food Bank

We are a Calgary food bank satellite location that distributes food hampers every Tuesday. In order to pick up a food hamper from our location, you must call Calgary food bank at 403-253-2055 or fill out their form online here. We cannot give a hamper that is not registered with Calgary food bank.
