Welcome to Skyview Community Church of the Nazarene
A Community of Faith and Transformation
We are a community of faith committed to knowing Jesus and to growing in Him for the sake of our city and our world.
We welcome all people from every walk of life and experience to our church. As you join us in worship we pray that you will experience the grace and generous hospitality of Jesus Christ through our worship and friendship.
Please join us Sunday mornings at 10:30 am for our worship gathering.
What to Expect at a Sunday Morning Service at Skyview
What do I wear?
We’re a pretty casual group so please come as you are.
We’ll have the coffee on just after 10 and again after church. A Skyview greeter will be at the front doors to say hello and help you get your bearings.
Our Sunday worship service starts at 10:30am and is open to everyone. It is designed to be a simple and intentional time of coming together to worship God. We gather to give God thanks, to hear from His word and to respond by participating in His Kingdom work through our lives, in the city of Calgary, and throughout the world. We value the natural expression of our children worshipping with us in our service. We wrap up around noon.
Skyview Kids Worship (10:45 am – 12:00 pm) We welcome our children to join us at the start of service for a time of praise and worship after which they are welcomed to the front by one of our children’s ministry leaders for “kid’s minute”. They will then be dismissed to various break-out sessions for age 3 to grade 6 in our downstairs classrooms. We also have a staffed nursery available outside our sanctuary for infants and toddlers.
Prayer is vital to a healthy relationship with God and others. We meet every Sunday from 9-10 AM for an hour of Bible study and prayer prior to our morning worship service. During this time we pray for our community, our church family, and the needs that are prevalent in our world.
If you are in need of prayer, please contact us at email@example.com. Your email will be received in confidence by one of our pastors. We also have opportunities for prayer on Sunday morning following service with our pastors or volunteer prayer leaders.
