Children’s
Ministries

Each Sunday morning we provide safe and fun age-appropriate classes for our children that feature worship, Bible stories, and prayer.

Our guiding principles include:

Communion with God

Our goal is so much greater than teaching our kids good morals. We want them to know Jesus! A major emphasis for Skyview Kids will be exploring the ways we welcome God into our lives through daily practices such as prayer, worship, scripture reading and service. Skyview Kid`s will seek to enable children and families to adopt daily spiritual practices that enables our friendship with God to grow.

Intergenerational

Though we will regularly provide separate teaching times for our children Skyview Kids is a vital part of our church family. We welcome our children to regularly worship and learn with our larger church family. Skyview Kid’s will join with the entire congregation when we receive communion, for baptisms and baby dedications, and for intergenerational worship on 5th Sundays. This year we hope to provide children and families with more opportunities than ever to serve in our worships services, and in our care and reaching out ministries.

Sunday Morning

Nursery

Babies through two-year-olds
The Nursery is available from 10:30 am every Sunday morning and runs for the duration of our worship-celebration. It features interactive play with a purpose, and involves stories and songs. It is a safe place for babies and toddlers to feel loved and cared for while parents enjoy the service undistracted.

Preschool

Ages three and four
Pre-school children experience God's love and receive sound Biblical teaching their very own class. Every Sunday morning a team of volunteers encourage a love of learning about God through Bible stories, games, play, and crafts. Pre-schoolers attend the first part of our Sunday worship-celebration with their parents and are dismissed for Preschool part way through the service following our Chidren's Minute.

Elementary

Kindergarten - Grade 3
Through Biblical lessons, fun skits and high energy songs, we're creating an environment that encourages our children to grow closer to God. We're providing a place where children can focus on what counts, on how God has designed them and on the God-given potential they have through Christ. Every Sunday morning children are challenged to make a difference in their world. It's an exciting time, and we're ready to start changing the world!

Route 456

Grades 4 - 6
What an incredible opportunity to be with these young people as they prepare for a new phase in their childhood! Route 456 is uniquely designed to offer these children a place for more in-depth learning and relationship building. Your child will enjoy God-centered conversation as they investigate the relevance of the Bible and what God has to share with them.
